Features and benefits of melamine
Melamine is a resin used to manufacture tableware and buffet items.
Products made of melamine are very robust and light at the same time, therefore easy to handle and transport; they don’t absorb odors and their aesthetic features resemble those of the items made of porcelain.
The quality of the materials is of the essence in order to guarantee reliable and safe products to the customers. Our melamine items are certified to come in contact with food in compliance with EU Regulations 1935/2004, 284/2011 and 10/2011.
Moreover, they also meet the requirements of the new Regulation UE 1245/2020, which updates the Regulation UE 10/2011 by setting out more strict standards.
Efay’s melamine items do not absorb odors and can be easily hand-washed or put in the dishwasher.
Efay’s melamine items can withstand temperatures from -20°C to 70°C and can be put in the fridge or refrigerator, but they cannot be used to cook or heat food, nor used in the stove or microwave. Always check the label applied on the bottom of each items for more information.
